The assignment consisted of installing a new tank for handling wash water from oil tankers. Since the wash water contains flammable substances, the ATEX directive applied, which meant that third-party design control was needed. The assignment included designing a new pipeline to the tank, demolishing the existing one, specifying equipment on the tank, purchasing components and piping, electrical and control contracts. Also installation management, commissioning and handover of final documentation.
